For my students that will be using these games, it is vital to make learning fun. My students have been playing with the only one "PoP" that I have and are completely engaged. They see reading as a struggle and something they are not good at, these games will help build their confidence. Our students are goal setting for themselves and need help with being exposed to as much phonics as they can. I want my students to come excited to learn and know that they are capable of meeting their goal. Playing games can do much more that build their phonemic awareness, it teaches them how to take turns, play by the rules, and accept when someone else wins.
