My little students have more energy than they can use just sitting and working in school. If they sit in a wiggle chair, they can work and wiggle at the same time. This helps them to make better use of their school day. At the carpet, one little student can hardly stand to sit at all. With a sensory cushion, he may be better able to tolerate sitting for rug time. Students with ADHD and Autism can use these alternate seats to help them sit and work when it is time to. When student needs are met, them are ready to learn.
