The materials needed for flexible seating are going to help keep my students engaged throughout the lesson. Students are pushed to constantly be learning and on task which is sometimes difficult because the students are children and have a lot of energy.
Using the flexible seating the children will be able to bounce and use some of the excess energy so they can stay focused on learning. The flexible seating also allows positive rewards for students who are on task. Flexible seating will also allow a change of pace from the everyday norm that the students are used to. As a first year teacher these items will allow my students to have a "bounce up" on learning.
