I would like to offer wobble stools and on-floor options while the students work. I will also have the traditional desks for those that prefer them. Flexible seating is a great way for students to have a choice in their education. I incorporate group and individual learning and flexible seating allows students the freedom to move around while working. Flexible seating will offer my special education students the chance to remain focused and on-task. There are many different types of learners and abilities in my classroom and offering them flexible seating will allow me to differentiate better. Many of my students fidget and the wobble stools will allow them to move while still learning.
