Students will be able to come to our playground area and enjoy playing chess with their friends and family. It is a gathering place and a great place to have chess accessibility. Students in the community will be able to come together and play the game of chess, while using critical thinking skills and prepare for their future careers. Students will be able to play with teachers and peers during school hours and come with families and friends anytime during the week and weekends to play a challenging game of chess. There are many benefits to playing chess - the top ten: 1. Chess helps prevent Alzheimer’s 2. It grows dendrites 3. Chess raises your kids' IQ 4. It increases kid’s problem-solving skills 5. Chess improves spatial skills 6. It improves the memory of your child 7. It exercises both sides of the brain 8. It increases the creativity of your kid 9. It improves the concentration your child. 10. Chess teaches planning and foresight
