I share this project with my two co-teachers, Michelle and Jo-Anne. We teach in an elementary school for students with autism in the Bronx. The majority of our students are from a low-income background and do not have access to large spaces to play safely.
Our students are learning to be competent movers in adapted physical education.
We are lucky to be physical education teachers because we get to teach ALL of the students in our school. Our students are full of energy, eager to learn, excited to play, and deserve to have the best possible experience in adapted physical education.
