Using the items received, my students will design and create Christmas ornaments to sell. My students will also take customized orders based on a form they have created. Once the ornament is complete they will then practice life skills by receiving payment and giving change to our customers.
My students will use the money earned and return it to the community by shopping for groceries, purchasing the groceries, and then practice the important life skill of cooking. Through this project my students will receive real world experiences that will help to prepare them for adulthood. Each and every one of my students desires to know their special place in their community.
