By using the Vernier Lab Quest 2 devices students will be able to collect, predict, and interpret data from experimentation in real-time. They will increase their ability to develop procedures to solve problems. When completing pH titrations of acids and bases and seeing how the pH changes as the volume is added to a substance makes the pH curve real and tremendously improves the ability to problem solve with a difficult concept. I would consistently use the Vernier Labquest throughout the year to help improve lab skills and the problem-solving process. This will help students to better understand the material, increase their creativity to solve problems and better apply concepts in chemistry. My students are truly excited to make discoveries in the lab and then relate them back to what we are learning in class! They love making connections with laboratory experiments, chemistry concepts and real-world applications!
