This is my first year of teaching. I teach pre-k and I would love to have more learning tools to help my scholars succeed and be ready for kindergarten. The majority of my students do not know how to hold a pencil, so using the pencil gripper that I pick will help them learn the correct way of holding a pencil. Knowing how to hold and grip a pencil is important. Once they get the hang of using the pencil I can remove the pencil gripper and see if they can do without it.
Recognizing the letters in the alphabet on the tracing and erase board will be a start in learning how to write their names. Seeing and writing it will help them get better and improve their writing skills. I believe that all of these learning materials and tools are a great opportunity for my students. I want my students to be able to have a chance to progress, and for they can see and know that they can do it no matter what their ages are. My students get really excited when they see that they accomplish something, and I would love to keep their minds going and a smile on their little faces.
