A quality printer will enable me to create individual lessons for my early kinder students. Many of these students are still struggling to write their name. A printer will allow me to access the many amazing ideas and inspirations that my fellow teachers have created that will make learning colorful, fun and engaging for each one of my students. I am currently creating everything by hand and I think that the endless possibilities that a printer will open up to my students would be invaluable. We create books using a lot of photographs that I take of my students while they are working on a writing project or STEM activity. When they read the books we create as a class they come alive. I have seen their language skills grow from reading the books they make. It brings them closer together as a class, and I would love to be able to encourage literacy and writing opportunities using photographs in our classroom and their own experiences.
I would love to be able to document their daily progress with photographs. My students love to have their pictures taken when they are working on their classroom projects. They sit and share with each other when new books are published for our classroom library.
