The laptop which the district provided me with is outdated. I was able to use it when school was not closed and changed to a virtual learning community. I have noticed when holding virtual meetings, that my laptop freezes, and at times, has to be closed down, in order to continue. This is frustrating to all the students and me. I need to restart the whole lesson. I also see that when creating slide shows for their virtual fifth grade graduation and presentations, my laptop is not able to handle the load. My laptop does not have the added technology to make my presentations truly engaging and eye-catching. The new laptop will enable me to give the most to my scholars in our new virtual learning community.
