Our students in the Allentown School District face challenges and obstacles such as poverty, high rates of crime in the community, violence, language barriers, and a school district with limited resources. The ATSI Project aims to provide our students with an opportunity to learn in innovative and creative ways. This project helps ALL students succeed in the classroom by providing them with the necessary resources to learn the way students in every other town in the country are learning. This technology will help our students learn in fresh and new ways! Our school has over 70% Hispanic population with high rates of ELL learners. Those ELL learners can benefit from having technology in the classroom that can help bridge that language barrier between teachers and students, as well as the students and learning!
