Having flexible seating options for my students is a commitment I am willing to take to see positive changes within my classroom. With flexible seating, students aren't tied down to one desk or seating arrangement. Throughout the day, they are sitting with different children creating new friendships and stronger social skills.
The purpose of flexible seating is to give students the power of choice. With flexible seating, they will feel comfortable allowing them to focus for longer periods of time which will lead to higher academic achievement. Also, the different choices will give children the sensory input they need to succeed in the modern-day classroom.
