I have dedicated this year to increasing my students exposure to science, technology, engineering, and math. These two devices will offer them hands on, creative, and technologically sound materials to make that happen!
Sphero is a tiny robot that you can program, develop challenges, and solve questions. Six of these would make small, manageable groups where each student can be included.
Makey Makey is a circuit board that allows students to program, develop, and utilize computers all while not realizing they are learning! Again, six of these would make for manageable groups. All of the students can be engaged and exposure is not limited to individual students.
