We will be using these materials for hands-on engaging learning tools in the form of puzzles, task cards, resources, games, and station activities. I laminate them and allow students to explore these manipulatives to increase their learning and allow practice within a skill. I am utilizing the colored paper to motivate students into a brighter visual on the activities including partnered activities to increase classroom climate and kindness in the classroom.
I have a lot of visual and kinesthetic learners in my classroom full of superheroes that don't wear capes- well sometimes we do! My students are also engaged in a lot of interactive notebook activities for math and reading as well as assisting them in learning to take notes utilizing graphic organizers that we glue into our notebooks to use as a resource in writing, reading, math, science, and social studies. My students are also working on social-emotional learning and engaging in creating a kinder classroom environment.
