It's second quarter and many of my students are still without basic school supplies. I want to relieve the burden they feel by providing a few of the essential they need to be successful. Having materials to give them relieves the pressure they feel at not being equipped, but also allows them to be more organized and effective learners.
Every item will be put to use! From the notebooks and folders, to the pencils and erasers, each resource will be available to students. The chart paper is essential to creating visuals that can travel with me from room to room or be stored easily in the classrooms I use each day. The scissors, stapler and tape, among other things, help me stay organized as I move about the building and teach in multiple locations.
