The goal and overall hope of these projects is to increase a love of books and story telling for my students. I want them to enjoy books, even if they are not strong readers. Visually engaging books are especially important for my visual learners. Books are such a good way to explore diverse topics. My students will benefit from having the stories read or signed to them, since many do not have these experiences at home. They can learn about different cultures, characters, and settings they have not learned about before. Books can help my students learn about other perspectives and problem-solving. Books can help my students make predictions.
