I want students to engage in their learning and take charge of their education. I am making an effort to do more project-based learning lessons, where students are active, researching, reading, and creating. Many of these materials will be used to create posters, pamphlets, and presentations that showcase what students have learned.
The multi-colored markers and colored pencils will allow students to use their imagination and creativity, and will give them an outlet to display their abilities. I have already seen how capable my students are, but lack the resources and materials to allow them to fully show their creativity and ingenuity. This donation will greatly impact their education by providing them resources to learn by doing hands-on projects, and provide a little color to their life and our classroom.
