These materials will allow my students to create a product for a LEGO competition. By competing, students will learn the computer science skills required to create a robot that will complete a beneficial task. They will also learn to program the robot to respond to voice commands. In addition to computer science skills, the students will learn time management and collaboration skills as they work on this outside of class time. After the competition, the kits will be used in math and science classes as enrichment opportunities for students who either need a break from the traditional content or finish and are looking for an extension.

About my class
