The materials requested will provide exposure to some hands-on learning. We work on various projects. We hope to complete many projects by the end of the second semester. This will have a significant impact on our student learning. We are focusing on being intentional in our teaching strategies. Science standards are very important to us. We will test the effects of balanced and unbalanced forces. We need to bring STEM activities to our school. Exposure to some hands-on tools can help growth and learning. I feel our chances of competing with other top level programs in our area will increase as well. This will also help us provide some visual tools needed to teach our students. We have a nice science lab, but we need some materials such as a scale, safety googles and aprons.
