The books, games, and iPad will enhance the skills I want all my students to achieve. As a School Counselor, I visit classrooms every day and teach them about Bullying, Social Awareness, Self Awareness, Responsible Decision Making, and Relationship Skills. The products that I have selected will help me with my Counseling Program, and assist my students to learn social and emotional skills through technology and literacy. The books, games, and iPad will help my students gain and practice new skills. One of the programs that I use with my students is Quaver SEL. Quaver SEL, is a Social Emotional application that helps students learn particular skills. With the iPad, I can individualize programs for different students and when they visit my office they can listen to a song about anger, or play a game on social skills, etc. Every book and game will be treated with love and will reach at least one student in my school. In every lesson I try to incorporate a story . The students here love to meet with me because I try to make it fun and interactive for them. Unfortunately , there is not enough funds in the school system for materials that will make my lessons interesting.
