Algebra is much more than a regular mathematics course, this course helps build the connection from everyday life to the classroom work and formulas. With the variety of learning styles and skill levels, having the students be able to physically touch the material helps the students learn at a much deeper level. We are requesting hands on resources to learn mathematics by using manipulatives. From building equations to building area models the students can move around individual pieces to transform one equation into another or one model into another without having to ask the question of how are the equations related or the models related because they were able to feel the connection they made
