I have 14 varying autistic students who love technology, bringing tablets into the classroom will give them an opportunity to use the technology in different aspects of the classroom such as having an independent center during our Reading and Math centers.
I would use these tablets to give students the opportunities to work at a Reading or Math center independently playing different educational games. They would also be able to use these tablets during brain breaks and play games together which will help them with their Social and Emotional goals. These tablets would be used daily with the students and will help them in many ways.
