iPads have endless learning opportunities. They are kid-friendly in this technology era we are in. Kids can send their families pictures and videos while updating their electronic portfolios. They can share the amazing things we are doing in class. They can keep an online portfolio to watch themselves learn and grow all year long. The kids can be in charge of what goes in their portfolio and the sharing. This will give me more time to be with kids and let them take on the technology piece. iPads have endless learning opportunities with apps as well, so can be used for other learning opportunities as well.
