I am requesting help to fund 2 more iPad for my classroom to use for classroom instruction in the areas of language development, social skills activities, typing skills, and reinforcement activities
Some examples of how I would use the Ipad to promote learning in my classroom would be...Using the iPad to download math programs such as touch math to teach my students how to add and subtract numbers without having to write using paper and pencil is very reinforcing for them. Using language-based programs on the i pad to promote communication with my students and giving them interactive tools to demonstrate their knowledge For example: answering who, what and where questions using pictures or simple sentences that are read aloud to them and paired with a picture.
Another example would be using interactive apps to build sentences so they can learn how to format a sentence -which can be carried over and I could teach them to write their own sentences in the typing section of the iPad.
