My wonderful students come with a variety of sensory needs. Using the swing, teeter totter chair, and trampoline multiple times a day or when need has amazing results for my students. It's more than just getting the wiggles out. Movement helps my students get centered and regulated.
Getting into that zone where learning can take place results in growth and achievement.
Having a variety of sensory activities available is incredibly beneficial for students with autism spectrum disorder and ADD. I will use this equipment multiple times throughout the school day. Especially during classroom breaks, but also when going out to recess is not possible.
