Working in kitchens of six students, the students learn teamwork and develop camaraderie with their classmates. They will use proper tools and learn academic language specific to their subject. While my students are in the kitchen, they will be learning to follow directions, measure precisely, use their math skills and create a wonderful product that they will share and be proud of. During this time of the year, when memories are made in the kitchen, the students will be cooking and baking with family members and classmates. The sifters/tamis are necessary for a superior product and the portion scoops add to the exactness of the project.

About my class
