Headphones are an essential school supply this year and we can't ask parents for them. The students will be returning to school soon and may or may not have headphones in the classroom. It is imperative that the students hear during instruction, so they can learn, which is why headphones are a necessity.
Headphones will help the students stay focused while doing individualized instruction on the computer whether it is an iReady lesson or a small group reading/math lesson.
My ESE and Tier III students need headphones with a microphone so I can hear them when they are answering and/or asking questions.
