Many of my athletes have families who are struggling financially and this project will benefit the team by taking stress off the students to have to purchase a ball to bring to practice. This project is requesting 16 new soccer balls for my after school soccer team. These 16 soccer balls will allow us to do more activities during practice and students will not have to worry about finding the money for a soccer ball. Three soccer balls will also be used as game balls, once a week.
Practicing five months out of the year, my athletes are in need of some new equipment. The team is also in need of 12 pinnies. These pinnies will allow me to divide up the team and allow them to scrimmage against one another. The boys will no longer struggle to know who is on their team during practice. The pinnies will also be used on game days when our opponent is also wearing blue jerseys.
