My school is a Title 1 school with limited funding. Although my students are encouraged to focus on their literacy skills, I believe this can best be achieved through involving students in science experiments that lend themselves to literacy experiences. Allowing students to create slide shows and share what they have learned with an audience is priceless.
Extraordinary lessons v. Ordinary lessons are the ones I hope to create to help my students gain the motivation that will extend beyond their educational career. The children will use computers to incorporate reading, writing, mathematics and visual artistry to share their knowledge!
