Our students enjoy their quiet time to read in the library. A larger individual space rug would provide them with the needed areas for silent reading, sharing stories with their peers, and listening to fun stories in their own comfortable space. The students need this private space to read for a feeling of security in the ever changing world they live in.
It is important in student learning to discover, explore, and have adventures that only the reading experience provides. What better way to have this experience than to have a quiet place to read.
With changing lifestyles in every child's life it becomes apparent that children face many challenges on a daily basis. New adventures await them when the opportunity arises reading a book. We are unsure what experiences stay with a child when they are given the opportunity to experience them in quiet places.
