Traditional respiration and photosynthesis investigations are slow, generate inconsistent data and can be difficult to interpret. With data probes and software data collection is fast and accurate. My students can collect more data and have more time to analyze the data.
By funding this project you’ll give my students opportunities to deeply engage in science practices. By reducing the amount of time spent on the mechanics of data collection and analysis students will have time to pursue their own creative scientific questions. It is also important for my students to interpret and analyze the their data collections. Data probes will provide my students high quality date collections which will provide them opportunities to engage in complex analysis and deeper levels interpretation.
