Flexible seating helps provide students with the autonomy to be motivated, engaged and focused when they are able to choose a variety of seating options that works best for them. Flexible seating allows students to collaborate with their peers and improve their behavior because they are engaged due to their flex environment. Increasing student engagement is so essential during this time in education and I want to provide my students to opportunities of flex seating to increase their motivation and engagement in school which is linked to better academic performance.
