Having a half class set of tablets will allow us to work on English language skills (ELL students), vocabulary (Lexia Core 5), math, and other life skills while building independence in my class. It has been shown that individuals with autism have poor fine motor skills and are drawn to learning through the use of electronics. This resource will also benefit my nonverbal students and help build communication. I hope to build upon skills and help students generalize skills in many ways across the school setting and throughout the day by allowing students to access many resources with a tablet and show the knowledge they have gained. This resource will also benefit my nonverbal students and help build communication.

About my class
