The students will be researching on Latin America countries where they will be focusing on geography, culture, types of government and historical events that have shaped the history of this region. They will create projects that will demonstrate their knowledge about the colonization, conquest and cultures that have been changed in these regions through creative projects.
Students will create maps, models, time-lines and cultural artifacts that show how the people lived in the past, their cultural contributions such as the Inca people who adapted to the mountainous terrain in the Andes to the indigenous people who lived in the Amazon Rain forest.
Students will use the cricut machines to create the visuals, models, letters and designs that demonstrate their knowledge.
