We have started the journey reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and my students are hooked! They have seen the movies and want to read the books. Several of the students are not avid readers, but this opportunity has encouraged them to read for pleasure. It would be great for them to experience the next parts of the Harry Potter series together and continue to grow as readers. For many of the students, this is the first chance they have had to have a book that they can call their "own" - and the excitement they share for reading this series is becoming contagious!

About my class
