My students simply need books to help them learn how to become readers. Our current books have been well loved and served their purpose well, but many are tattered, missing pages and are falling apart. We are excited for the opportunity for more students to fall in love with reading. These books will not only help my students this year but many years in the future. This story will touch children and grow their literacy skills. They will learn reading, phonic, spelling, plot, setting, characters, vocabulary, prediction, cause and effect, problem solving, and much more from this one story. Having an individual copy will encourage students to look back in the story to find answers, a skill needed through out life. One book can change a student.
