The classroom I teach in does not have windows. It is on the inside walls of the building. This tends to make the room feel gloomy. These items will help make my room seem less sterile and more comforting to my students. Often my students come in with anxiety and at times displaying negative behaviors. I feel they would benefit from this calming atmosphere. I want to bring the outside inside; the feeling of natural light and nature that is missing from a room with no windows. I have also included a calming fidget pack to help them focus while on task. These items will help them be more ready to learn and engage in the day's lesson.
