As my students return to my classroom in person, I want to make sure that they feel welcome, supported, and safe to express themselves. I hope to achieve this with arts integration, comfortable seating, and mindful journaling.
This set of materials will help my students return to school feeling safe and welcome.
Journals have always been a part of my classroom, but in the upcoming year, I am going to put a greater emphasis on the social-emotional and growth mindset aspect of journaling and writing. The growth mindset journals will be a daily practice for my class.
