Strawbees can be used from second grade up to 6th grade. Using these materials or manipulates will help the students with differentiated learning and a hands-on experience that will last a lifetime. These Strawbees can be used to make graphs and 3D shapes for their engineering and technology phases of their curriculum. These materials help with the foundations of knowledge that is needed to succeed in the middle and high school. My lesson will focus on the STEAM focused curriculum of our district. The student are very enthusiastic to work on and complete these projects. The pictures I take of these STEAM activities are then posted on the schools Twitter sight for the parents and or guardians to see.
