Infosys Foundation USA is having their Pathfinders Institute this winter in Providence, RI. It will take place from February 16-20. I have this golden opportunity to attend Pathfinders. This will allow me to receive in-person professional development for my K-2 grade students in computer science. Scratch Jr. PD will show me how I can integrate coding into different subject areas. KIBO would bring in the unplugged experience for my students to have a hands-on approach to computational thinking. With the opportunity to attend Pathfinders institute, I will be able to grow as an educator, reach over 400 hundred students, as well as teach over 20 teachers coding. Like my students, I continue to be a sponge and learn everything I can about coding to bring to my students.
