These small town middle-school students will be experiencing Washington DC and how our country works on the Close-Up Trip. They will be visiting the F.D. Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, and Martin Luther King, Jr. memorials for study visits. The students will experience and study Congress and Capitol Hill.
While in Washington, DC , our students want to experience America's Pastime - a major league baseball game. Nothing beats sitting in a ballpark, watching your team with a hot dog smothered with all the goods in one hand and an ice cold drink in the other. Please help our students have this experience, which they is not an option in our state. Thank you!
