With the donation of a re-useable water bottle for each student, I can encourage students to reach for a hydrating sip of water instead of sugary drinks or energy drinks. There are multiple studies that show hydrated students are more likely to stay focused and remember the information that they are learning.
Re-useable water bottles will allow students to have hydrated, healthy brains to actively engage in the learning process.
By having students hydrated throughout the day, they can actively engage in the activities and tasks that will prepare them for college and future careers. A hydrated mind is a sharp mind!
