In my classroom, currently, I have a small whiteboard and two chalkboard that have been stripped and are unable to be used. Being a math teacher it is important that my students go to the board as much as possible to show their understandings of the material. With limited board space this is a challenge as I can only have two students showing their work at a time because no more than two problems can fit on the board. I waste a lot of time constantly erasing the previous problems in order to move onto the next one which limits the amount of content I cover in class. With additional board space my students will not feel as rushed to complete the problems and will have more space to show their work to the class. In addition, with another whiteboard in the classroom I will have more diversity with the way I set up my classroom.
