The Kids Feeding Kids backpack program began one year ago to provide weekly nutritional support to the more needy students in our school. With the help of students and organizations like NJHS and Student Council we create 45 bags of food each week which usually include 2 breakfast, 3 main meals and 4-5 snacks.
The Kids Feeding Kids Backpack program is supported entirely by donations. With these donations, we will be able to to provide the food pantries highest needs such as vegetables, breakfasts and proteins, which are not donated as often.
