My students love to work outside, but the school garden and outdoor tables are too far away from our classroom. There is an empty patch of sad dirt in front of our room that I want to turn into a beautiful garden with an inviting workspace for students. We have a very supportive small community with several local businesses that can help with soil and plants, but we need functional outdoor furniture. I look forward to doing the design and building work with my students and watching as our garden classroom grows into a unique learning space. My students face all sorts of challenges in their daily lives, I would like their time with me to be as comfortable and productive as possible.
