Our digital school yearbook will be an interactive digital book that students and teachers can use to document memories of the 2020-2021 school year. I will need a Macbook Air in order to effectively use programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Book Creator, and Canva to create designs for different elements of the yearbook. You may already be asking, "What memories will you have to document?" Well, like everything this year we are going a non-traditional route!
Using my Macbook Air to design the yearbook, we will provide opportunities for self-care for students through artistic expression such as video, comics, paintings, and written work.
The prompt, "How did you feel about life before the pandemic and how do you feel now" will give students the chance to express their grief and frustrations through art as a form of self-care, work through these feelings and their grief, and move toward greatness. Thank you for providing the tool of the Macbook Air to create a memory that will last forever.
