As an Adapted PE teacher, I modify games, activities and equipment so that everyone can be successful. My students LOVE to move and participate in physical activity. With the right adaptations to activities and equipment, my students have the opportunity to try a wide range of sports and games.
My students with visual impairments receive most information from their tactile and auditory senses. This means using sounds like my voice, bells or making noises with equipment or furniture. It also includes equipment with various textures and sounds to give my students some sensory input.
