I teach a diverse group of students, including those with autism, physical impairments, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, and those that are English language
learners. In working with a diverse group of students, I have been challenged with providing instruction that supports the unique needs of each type of learner.
Although all of my students have gross-motor delays and have difficulty accessing General Education P.E standards, they all work relentlessly to overcome any obstacle they face. My students have a love for learning and enjoy being active. They taught me that when we focus on one's ability rather than their disability they exceed beyond expectations.
