Currently, students are receiving in-person instructions. However, if we return to remote learning at any time, the more books we have, the easier it will be for students to understand the concepts and the story. For those learners with kinesthetic or reading/writing styles, this will give them something tangible. My goal is to get a class set for both of my classes, so both will have access if we return to remote learning. The book I hope my class will be able to read is, "Pay It Forward," by Catherine Ryan Hyde. The book is written from the perspective of a student, their age, that accepted his teacher's challenge to change the world. We are in trying times, I would like my students to understand and believe that they can make a difference. Moreover, that the little things that they can do, can make huge ripples.
